ABOUT

I'm a lover of cooking. For a 22 year old some people think that makes me a bit of a grandma, well I throw pie in their face because I don't have to be a grandma to enjoy delicious healthy food!

Now as a lover of cooking, it's not always the best attribute for keeping thin. And I'll be damned if I have to eat another no carb stir fry for dinner. I've had more than enough stir fries and the thought of making another for lack of ideas makes me want to throw my wok out the window.

So here I am on a journey to find and make delicious low to no carb clean meals for you (and me) because I've spent too long searching for these recipes to let them hide in my memory and not share them with others who are having the same problem.

To give you some background on where I'm at:
I'm 22 I love cooking - you already know that.
Up until this point in my life my favourite foods were potato, cheese and anything sugar. I'm not overweight but like a lot of other people I would like to look as good as Gwyneth Paltrow after two children and not have to drink green sludge every day. I have a personal trainer who has advised me on the best way to eat to be able to burn fat instead of stored carbs when I exercise, so the recipes I post will be in line with his recommendations and as low to no carb as possible BUT still delicious. I'm in no way a nutritionist or expert in this field but I do take an avid interest in it and I do have some knowledge surrounding it. I'm not strict. I cook what I think works for me and what I feel like, I advise you to do the same! Dieting sucks ass and I am in no way disciplined enough to stick to a diet, I think many many other people can relate to that. These recipes are lifestyle (men, family and friends) friendly. I love cooking for people and I know how hard it is to stick to a diet when you have to cook for others, no one wants to eat your spirulina balls for dinner, okay. Not even you. I also work full time, and am not a morning person therefore my time allocated to making breakfast and a nutritious lunch are not ideal.

That's my rant - now stay tuned for my solutions! I hope I can help someone along the way!
